GeoSAS, the GIS solution for water supply and sanitation from Tracasa company, has won the public tender to provide the system to the Municipal Water Company of La Coruña S. A. (EMALCSA). The contest amounts to 237,000 euros and has a duration period until December 31, 2013.

At the bidding of EMALCSA there have been a total of 10 companies, that had to complete a technical and financial proposal. After a first cut at which five companies were discarded, GeoSAS won the competition getting the best technical score and presenting the best financial offer.

On the technical side, EMALCSA presented to the companies at the public tender the requirements of a GIS solution that would facilitate the greater integration and compatibility with other systems, that was more robust and standard, and that could be more easily updated.

GeoSAS is the pioneering and most advanced tool in the GIS of water supply and sanitation systems and belongs to Tracasa.
